Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 21, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how personal data is processed in connection with the KurutemPro website (kurutempro.com) and the KurutemPro desktop application. We act as the data controller under applicable data protection laws, including Turkey's Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK) where applicable.

Data Controller

Data controller: KurutemPro. For privacy-related requests, contact us at [email protected] or +90 (546) 650 86 56.

Scope

This policy covers two separate environments: (1) the kurutempro.com website — provides product information, download links, and contact details; (2) the KurutemPro desktop application — processes your dry-cleaning business operational data locally on your computer. The website and desktop app have different data processing models, each described below.

Data Processed on the Website

Our website does not include registration forms or payment processing. When you visit, our hosting provider may automatically log technical data such as IP address, browser type, access time, and requested pages. We may use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand site usage; GA4 may process measurement data such as page views and interactions through Google-operated services. Your language preference (Turkish/English) may be stored in your browser's local storage (localStorage) on your device only. If you contact us via email, phone, or WhatsApp, the information you share (name, contact details, message content) is processed solely to respond to your inquiry.

Data Processed in the Desktop Application

The KurutemPro desktop application stores customer records, receipt information, transaction history, reports, and similar business data locally on the computer where it is installed by default. This data is not automatically transferred to KurutemPro servers and can be used without an internet connection. During license activation, technical information such as a device identifier and license key may be processed for license verification purposes.

Purposes and Legal Bases for Processing

Your data is processed to provide and verify software licenses, respond to technical support requests, comply with legal obligations, and ensure service security based on our legitimate interests. Processing is based on contractual necessity, legal obligation, and legitimate interest under applicable data protection law.

Third-Party Services

If you enable Google Drive backup, backup files are sent to your own Google account; this processing is subject to Google's privacy policy. If you use SMS or WhatsApp notification features, message content is transmitted through the relevant carrier or platform provider. Software updates are downloaded from releases.kurutempro.com; standard HTTP logs may be generated during download. These integrations are used only when you enable them.

Data Security and Retention

The security of business data in the desktop application depends largely on the physical and software security of your computer; we recommend regular backups. Website server logs are retained for a reasonable period for security and troubleshooting, then deleted. Contact records may be archived for up to 2 years after your inquiry is resolved.

Your Rights

Under applicable data protection law, you may have the right to learn whether your personal data is processed, request information, learn whether it is used for its purpose, request correction of incomplete or inaccurate data, request deletion, and claim compensation for unlawful processing. Submit requests to [email protected]; we will respond within 30 days.

Cookies, Analytics, and Local Storage

When Google Analytics 4 is enabled on our website, Google may use measurement cookies or similar identifiers to analyze traffic and interactions. See Google's privacy policy for how Google processes data. Language preference may be stored via localStorage; you can delete this data in your browser settings. The desktop application uses a local database and configuration files for functionality.

Policy Changes

We may update this policy in line with legal requirements or service changes. Updates are published on this page; the last updated date is revised for significant changes.
